Construction Index Golden Sticker Competition – Terms and Conditions

Find a golden sticker in the Construction Edition Official Sticker Album to win a JCB goody bag and factory tour (travel not included). Terms and Conditions apply.

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is The Construction Index in partnership with J C Bamford Excavators Ltd (“JCB”), registered in England and Wales (No. 00561597), Rocester, Staffordshire, ST14 5JP.

2. Eligibility

Open to UK residents only. Employees of JCB, The Construction Index, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are excluded. No purchase necessary to enter.

3. How to Enter

Collect stickers from the Construction Edition Official Sticker Album. Golden stickers have been randomly distributed across sticker packs. If you find a golden sticker, follow the instructions printed on it to claim your prize.

4. Competition Period

The promotion runs until all prizes have been claimed or until 31st December 2026, whichever is earlier. Any claims received after this date will not be valid.

5. Prizes

Each golden sticker entitles the finder to:

1. A JCB goody bag containing a variety of merchandise worth approximate £150

2. A guided factory tour for up to four people at JCB headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire worth approximately £130 – for more information, visit https://www.jcb.com/en-gb/about/factory-tour

Travel, accommodation, and any additional expenses are not included. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. JCB reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in exceptional circumstances. There is a limit of one prize per person. In relation to the prizes, separate terms and condition relating to the use of the prize may apply. Prizes are awarded ‘as is’ with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied.

6. Claiming Your Prize

Winners must contact The Construction Index via the details provided on the Golden Sticker and website within 30 days of finding it. Winners may be required to send proof of the golden sticker and proof of identity to validate their claim. Factory tour dates must be pre-booked in advance and are subject to availability and operational requirements. Due to health and safety, the minimum age to take part in the factory tour is 15 years and under 16s must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Sensible shoes should be worn – you will not be permitted onto the tour in open toe or heeled footwear. Photos cannot be taken on the factory floor.

7. Winner Publicity

By entering, winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity, including having their name and photo shared on JCB and The Construction Index channels.

8. Liability

Neither JCB or The Construction Index will accept anyresponsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete entries or claims. Neither JCB or The Construction Index will be liable for any costs, expenses, or damages arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.

9. General

JCB and The Construction Index reserve the right to withdraw, cancel or amend this competition where it becomes necessary to do so without prior notice. JCB and The Construction Index reserve the right to change the terms of and end the competition at their discretion. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. JCB’s privacy policy is available at jcb.com.
